C. Cindy Fan is a Professor of Geography and Vice Provost for International Studies and Global Engagement at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she provides strategic leadership for international partnerships and oversees 27 interdisciplinary research centers. She is the first Asian American woman to hold this administrative role and has been instrumental in advancing UCLA's global strategic plan.
