Bárbara Estudillo Gil

Bárbara Estudillo Gil is an Assistant Professor in the Architectural Constructions Group at the University of the Balearic Islands, Spain. She teaches Occupational Risk Prevention, Health and Safety Coordination, and Universal Accessibility across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs within the School of Engineering.

Her educational background includes:

• PhD in Economics, Management, and Organization (Business Economics) from University of Navarra, Autonomous University of Barcelona, and University of the Balearic Islands (2022)
• Degree in Technical Architecture from University of Seville (2003)
• Degree in Industrial Organization Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2010)
• Building Engineering degree from University of the Balearic Islands (2011)

Dr. Estudillo's research focuses on Human Resources Management within occupational safety contexts, with specific interests in safety climate, preventive occupational training, and evaluation of the economic efficiency of HRM. Since 2018, she has actively participated in international conferences and research meetings, publishing scientific articles in leading international journals such as Journal of Safety Research and Safety Science. Her work bridges architectural construction with occupational risk prevention methodologies.

She is a member of two research groups:

• Construcciones Arquitectónicas e Ingeniería de Edificación (CONSTARQ) - consolidated experimental R&D group
• Investigación en Economía y Estrategia de las Organizaciones (GREEO) - consolidated R&D group

Her notable achievement includes winning the first prize in architecture at the 'Ciutat de Palma' in 2012.
