Bálint Gárdos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies, School of English and American Studies, Eötvös Loránd University. His research spans literary history, aesthetics, and cultural memory, with a focus on Hungarian and British literature.
His work explores historical narratives in women’s writings around the French Revolution, Enlightenment moral exempla, and the evolution of literary forms like the sonnet. Recent publications analyze the intersection of private lives and historical events in literary contexts.
