Bálint Bachmann is an Associate Professor at the University of Pécs, affiliated with the Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering and Informatics and its Institute of Architecture. He holds a Doctor of Liberal Arts in Architecture and a habilitation in Integrated Heritage Protection. His academic career includes roles as Dean (2009-), Head of Department of Materials Science, Geotechnics and Transportation Engineering (2011.07-), and Institute Director (2012.02-) at the Professional Institute of Architecture.
