Byron Gajewski

Dr. Byron Gajewski is Professor in the Department of Biostatistics & Data Science at the University of Kansas, with secondary appointments in Nursing and membership in the Cancer Center's Population Health program. Develops statistical methodologies for healthcare, environmental, and clinical applications.

Methodological Research: Bayesian analytical approaches for clinical trials, latent variable modeling, healthcare services research, and environmental statistics. Creates frameworks for nursing home evaluations, hearing loss studies, and adaptive trial designs.

Collaborative Work: Partners with medical researchers, engineers, and healthcare professionals on translational projects. Serves as Methods Core Director for the Center for American Indian Community Health.
