Burmistrova Elena Borisovna

Elena Borisovna Burmistrova serves as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). She has been working at HSE since 1998 and brings 43 years of scientific and teaching experience to her roles. Her academic credentials include the title of Associate Professor (awarded in 1992), Candidate of Technical Sciences from the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (1982), and a specialty in Automated Control Systems (1979).

Professor Burmistrova's research interests span Mathematical Economics, Transport Systems Management, Operational Planning, and the application of mathematical methods to economic problems. Her work particularly focuses on elasticity of substitution in production functions and the mathematical foundations of economic theory.
