Burak Gürel

Burak Gürel is a Full Professor specializing in Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bilkent University (1999), an M.A. in Mathematics from Bilkent University (1995), and a B.S. in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University (1993).

His research focuses on rigorous mathematical analysis of dispersive partial differential equations, with current projects including TÜBİTAK-funded studies on nonlinear Schrödinger equations. He teaches advanced mathematics courses including Math 101, Math 531, Math 532, and Math 433.
