Burak Beder is a Research Fellow at the Department of International Trade and Business, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Doğus University. He holds a PhD in Economics from Marmara University (2024), a Master's degree in International Economics (2016), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sakarya University (2013). His academic career at Doğus University began in 2020 as a Research Assistant.
His educational background includes:
- PhD in Economics, Marmara University, 2024. Thesis: "Political Economy Analysis of European Union Green Economy Policies: Reflections on Turkey's Foreign Trade".
- Master's in International Economics, Marmara University, 2016. Thesis: "The Role of Cultural Differences from the Perspective of Multinational Corporations".

Burak Beder's research focuses on Green Economy, the European Green Deal, Sustainable Development, International Trade, and International Political Economy. He has published on topics such as carbon border adjustments, the relationship between renewable energy and economic growth, and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on global trade.
