Dr Buddhini Ranawaka is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Biology & Environmental Science, Faculty of Science, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Her research focuses on plant genomics, epigenetics, and biotechnology, with particular emphasis on crops like wheat and Nicotiana benthamiana. She investigates comparative genomics between rice and wheat, viral disease dynamics in plants, and molecular techniques for studying epigenetic modifications in plants.
