Bryony Anne Tolhurst is a Senior Lecturer and Panel Tutor at the University of Cambridge, with affiliations as an honorary research fellow at the University of Brighton and a consultant for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT). Her academic journey includes a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Wildlife Management and Conservation from the University of Reading, and a PhD in Mammal Behavioural Ecology from the University of Sussex.
Her research focuses on urban mammal ecology, disease ecology, human-wildlife conflict, and biologging techniques. She advocates for Research-Focussed-Experiential Learning, emphasizing fieldwork and citizen science initiatives.
