Bryan White

Bryan White is a Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences and a faculty member at the Carl R. Woese Institute of Genomic Biology (IGB) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. He serves as Director of the Mayo Clinic/UIUC Strategic Alliance for Technology-Based Healthcare, which supports collaborative programs in individualized medicine and point-of-care diagnostics.

His research focuses on understanding host-microbe interactions through microbial genomics, metagenomics, and microbial ecology, leveraging genomic technologies to explore the complex relationships between hosts and their microbial communities.
