Professor Bryan White is a faculty member at the School of Music, University of Leeds, specializing in seventeenth- to nineteenth-century British music and culture. His expertise includes court music, opera, choral performance, and archival studies.

His research focuses on English court and Chapel Royal music, anthems, Cecilian odes, and St Cecilia’s Day celebrations. He has curated exhibitions on historical collections at the University of Leeds and actively performs as a choral director and singer with the Clothworkers Consort of Leeds.
Professional memberships include the Purcell Society, Society for Seventeenth-Century Music, and Royal Musical Association. He supervises postgraduate researchers and has served as an external examiner at multiple institutions.
