Bryan Cataldi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting & Information Management at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds a PhD in Accounting from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Iowa. Prior to academia, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in public accounting. His research focuses on the intersection of accounting, entrepreneurship, and angel investment, with publications in top-tier journals. He also founded and grew a multi-million dollar real estate company, offering insights into small business and entrepreneurial finance.
Dr. Cataldi’s expertise bridges academic and practical domains, informed by both industry experience and scholarly contributions. His teaching and research emphasize real-world applications of accounting principles in entrepreneurial contexts.
