Bruno Costa

Bruno Costa is a researcher at the Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) - Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and a PhD student in the Doctoral Program in Intelligent and Adaptable Software Systems at the University of Vigo. His work bridges academic research and practical healthcare technology development through projects like SelfMed and Balvia Ecosystems.

Projects: He participated in the La Caixa-funded SelfMed project developing an automatic pill dispenser in partnership with OldCare and IPB's CeDRI. Currently, he promotes the Balvia Ecosystems project, which expands SelfMed's outcomes into a comprehensive digital ecosystem for independent living solutions.
