Bruna Pincegher

Bruna Pincegher is an architect, urban planner and PhD candidate in Urban and Regional Development at the Politecnico di Torino - Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST), where she serves as an external lecturer and teaching assistant. Her academic affiliation spans the 40th PhD cycle (2024-2027).

Her research interests focus on Spatial planning, Climate change adaptation, Sustainable land use, Territorial resilience, Risk prevention and management, and Urban and regional governance. She specializes in developing Urban Climate Shelters as Nature-based Solutions to transform schoolyards and enhance urban health through community co-design approaches.

Analysis of her publications reveals a consistent focus on practical applications of resilience planning, particularly through the development of the R3C-GeoResilience open-source tool for mapping territorial vulnerabilities and implementing Nature-based Solutions in urban settings.
