Bruj Emil

Bruj Emil is a Researcher at the National Institute for Research & Development in Isotopic and Molecular Technologies (ITIM-CJ), Romania, within the Materials, Energy and Advanced Technologies department. He holds a PhD in Materials Engineering (2011) and MSc in Engineering and Management of Machinery and Tools Manufacturing (2003) from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

His research focuses on alternative energy conversion, Microwave field manipulation, and industrial automation. He has developed patented solutions for:

• ST40M gas turbine propulsion systems for Romanian Naval Forces
• Microwave environmental pollution recovery
• Microwave food processing uniformity using photonic crystals

He has served as Key Expert in projects funded by PN-III-P2-2.1-SOL-2021 and PN-III-P2-2.1-PED-2016/2019 programs, working on gas turbine replacement systems and microwave heating optimization.
