Bruce Mathison Abell

Bruce Mathison Abell, MD, FACS is an Assistant Professor of General Surgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Board-certified in General Surgery and Critical Care, he specializes in laparoscopic management of complex hernias, abdominal wall reconstructions, and breast cancer treatment. Dr. Abell completed his MD at George Washington University (1992) and trained in General Surgery residency (1997) and Critical Care fellowship (1997-1998) at GW Medical Center.
