Bronis R de Supinski

Bronis R de Supinski serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Livermore Computing (LC) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and holds the position of Professor of Exascale Computing at Queen's University of Belfast. In his LLNL role, he formulates large-scale computing strategy, oversees implementation, and manages collaborations with industry and academia while engaging with global supercomputing leaders.

His academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia (1998), after which he joined LLNL in July 1998.

De Supinski's research centers on exascale systems and high-performance computing for national security applications, with significant contributions to supercomputing architecture and scientific computing. His work bridges theoretical advances with practical deployment of cutting-edge computational infrastructure through LLNL's Center for Applied Scientific Computing.

His distinguished recognition includes:
