Britta Gemmeke is a Research Assistant in Romance Studies/Applied Linguistics at the University of Siegen since 2020, with a research focus on phonological phenomena in French as a second language (L2). She is affiliated with the Chair of Prof. Dr. Britta Thörle and previously worked at the Chair of Prof. Dr. Guido Mensching at Georg-August-University Göttingen. Her academic expertise spans
