Brinker Ferguson

Brinker Ferguson is a Lecturing Professor in the Department of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Dartmouth College. She leads the Cultural Heritage Preventative Preservation Program and is affiliated with the Data Experiences + Visualizations Lab. Additionally, she serves as a National Heritage Responder for the American Institute of Conservation.

Her research focuses on the intersection of cultural heritage conservation, computational imaging, and Indigenous agency. She emphasizes Indigenous data sovereignty and the ethical dimensions of digital repatriation in the context of Native American and Indigenous communities.
