معرفی
Bright Appiah Adu-Gyamfi is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Technology and Safety, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, based in Tromsø. He actively contributes to the Sustainable Technology and Safety (STS) research group, focusing on sustainable aviation systems within Arctic and northern operational contexts.
His research centers on electric and hybrid aircraft technologies, with emphasis on energy distribution modeling, performance optimization, and practical implementation challenges. Key interests include series-hybrid propulsion systems, energy balance methodologies, and sustainability metrics for aviation operators. His work bridges transportation engineering with aerospace innovation to reduce carbon footprints in air mobility.
Recent publications reveal a strong trend toward applied energy analysis in aviation, particularly through case studies of real-world operators and comprehensive reviews of enabling technologies. His research demonstrates increasing sophistication in energy diagram applications and addresses critical gaps in sustainable aviation infrastructure.
As part of the STS research group housed in Teknologibygget (Room 1.055), he collaborates on interdisciplinary projects examining technology-safety synergies, with particular relevance to Arctic environmental conditions and operational constraints.
