Bridget Thoene

Bridget Thoene is an Instructor in the College of Nursing - Northern Division at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She holds a diploma in nursing from Bryan School of Nursing (Lincoln, NE), a BSN from the University of Phoenix (2016), and an MSN from the University of Phoenix College of Nursing (2018). Her clinical experience includes roles as a nursing assistant in a cardiac catheterization lab at the Nebraska Heart Institute and as a staff nurse across medical-surgical floors, pediatrics, and psychiatric units.

Thoene is actively engaged in academic service, serving on the Exam Review Committee and contributing to the Diversity and Inclusivity Task Force (2019). She emphasizes lifelong learning and professional development in nursing education and clinical practice.
