Brian Welch is Assistant Professor in Pittsburg State University's School of Construction and serves as Faculty Advisor for the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Student Chapter. His teaching includes Fundamentals of the Safety Industry, Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Hazardous Materials/HAZWOPER, and Legal Issues in Safety.
He holds Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer. Welch earned both his B.S.T. in Environmental and Safety Management and M.S.T. in STEM College Teaching from Pittsburg State University. Personal interests include outdoor activities through Scouts BSA and indoor pursuits like 3D printing and gaming.
