Brian Stiltner is Professor of Theology and Religious Studies and co-director of the Hersher Institute for Applied Ethics at Sacred Heart University. His scholarship focuses on Christian ethics, war and peace studies, and the intersection of faith with public policy.
Stiltner's research examines moral frameworks for conflict resolution, Christian responses to war, and ethical dimensions of public life. His recent work includes analyses of humility as a virtue, community organizing models, and theological responses to trauma. He has authored multiple books including 'Faith and Force: A Christian Debate About War' and engages public discourse through media appearances and podcast interviews on topics like the Afghanistan War and Christian peacebuilding.
