Brian Melzer is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. His research examines household finance, housing investments, financial advice, and consumer financial regulation, with publications in leading economics and finance journals including the American Economic Review and Journal of Finance.
Melzer previously served as a Senior Financial Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and taught corporate finance at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. At Tuck, he teaches real estate courses that integrate economic theory with practical applications in property markets and investment analysis.
