Brian Larson

Brian Larson is Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Director for Animation in the School of Film and Animation at Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds an MFA from Miami International University and BFA from Colorado State University.

His creative research focuses on 2D animation techniques and character design. Notable works include the animated film 'Love Song of the Drone' featured in international film festivals. He teaches courses spanning animation fundamentals, character design, storyboarding, and capstone project development.

Larson co-directed the development of 'That Damn Goat', a collaborative video game project involving RIT faculty and students. His leadership contributed to the School of Film and Animation's multi-million dollar facility renovation enhancing animation education resources.
