Brian Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Carleton University, within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He holds a B.A. Honours, M.A. from the University of Manitoba, and a Ph.D. from Dalhousie University.
His research focuses on Canadian literature, literary theory, and genre, with particular attention to materialist medievalism, imperial fantasy, and Gothic traditions.
