Brian Higgins is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) at Stockholm University. He holds a PhD from Stanford University (2023) and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Inequality in America Initiative at Harvard University (2023-24), remaining an associate there. His research focuses on macroeconomics, finance, and real estate with notable work on housing market dynamics, consumption patterns, and financial regulation.
