Brian G. Chapman is an Assistant Professor in Residence and Regional Campus Coordinator at the University of Connecticut (UConn), affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. He holds an Ed.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. from Columbia University. His research focuses on aging, gender, and sexual/gender minority populations, with a focus on intergenerational learning and resilience.
- Teaching: Courses include HDFS 1070, 2001, 2200, 3240, 3249, 3261, 3510, and 5248.
- Leadership: Directed UConn Waterbury’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), securing a $1M endowment and overseeing community outreach.
- Grants: Secured over $1.5M in grants, including work on drag expression and SGM populations.
