Dr. Brian Fidler is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at the School of Counseling within the College of Adult and Graduate Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University and is a licensed professional counselor and marital and family therapist in Missouri, as well as a nationally board-certified counselor and certified emotionally-focused therapist.

His recent publications and presentations reflect a strong focus on integrating spiritual and psychological frameworks in counseling education, with recurring themes in trauma, grief, forgiveness, adolescent sexuality, and private practice development. Dr. Fidler is a recognized leader in faith-based mental health services in southwest Missouri and has collaborated with churches, colleges, and shelters to expand counseling training for lay ministers and educators. He founded and serves as executive director of a private practice dedicated to holistic healing and soul restoration.
