Professor Brian Ferneyhough is a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the Department of Music, Stanford University. His work focuses on contemporary music composition and theory, characterized by intricate notational practices and avant-garde aesthetics. He has been affiliated with major institutions, including the Institute of Musical Research in London, where he held the ST Lee Visiting Professorial Fellowship (2013-14).
