Brian E. Bergeron is a Professor and Program Director at the Dental College of Georgia, Augusta University, where he has served since 2013. His career spans 23 years in the USAF Dental Corps, including leadership roles as Endodontics Residency Director at Keesler AFB Medical Center.
- Education: DMD from University of Florida (1990), BA in Biology/Biological Sciences from Jacksonville University (1986).
Dr. Bergeron specializes in Endodontics, with research focusing on root canal treatments, bacterial debridement, and dental material properties. His recent work includes systematic reviews on pulpotomy and ex vivo studies on chelation effects.
He has received the MVP Faculty Award (2017) and multiple military honors. Dr. Bergeron serves on the boards of the American Board of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontists, and as a CODA site-visitor. He contributes to journals as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics and Journal of Dentistry.
