Brian Andrews

Brian Andrews is an Associate Professor at DePaul University's School of Cinematic Arts, where he serves as Chair of Post-Production. His work bridges nature, culture, and technology through visual effects, animation, and immersive media like virtual/augmented reality.

Andrews' creative research manifests in films, museum installations, planetarium works, and VR applications. His projects have premiered at prestigious venues including Sundance Film Festival, Cannes XR, and São Paulo Museum of Modern Art. As a senior producer for Bad At Sports podcast, he also contributes to contemporary art discourse.

Current research focuses on virtual production techniques and cinematic applications of emerging visual technologies, with teaching expertise spanning compositing, visual effects supervision, and virtual cinematography.
