Bria Carrithers is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Yale School of Medicine. Her roles include clinical fellow appointments in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She holds an MD from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (2021), an MS from Hampton University (2017), and a BS in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Spelman College (2015).
Her research interests focus on medical oncology and hematology, including cancer treatment strategies, blood disorders, and clinical research in hematologic malignancies. She completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2024) and internship at the same institution (2022).
- Awards: 2025 HIP Fellow Award from the American Society of Hematology.
