Brett Snyder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design at UC Davis. His research addresses social issues through architecture, including housing crises and climate action projects. Snyder co-leads the experimental studio Cheng+Snyder, focusing on multi-scale solutions from buildings to publications.
Research explores accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and flexible living arrangements, exemplified by the award-winning Roommate House project which optimizes small footprints for diverse occupants.
