Brett J. Taylor is a print-media artist and educator currently serving as the Visiting Assistant Professor of Art Studio at Mount Holyoke College. Their work bridges traditional and digital printmaking, book forms, and installation to interrogate intersections between disability, gender, and queer identity.

Research & Advocacy: Taylor employs an autotheoretical framework to visualize how disabled bodies interact with the built world. Their artistic practice emphasizes bodily fluidity, accessibility, and the critique of ableist systems through exhibitions at institutions like Field Projects, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, and Shands Hospitals.
Teaching & Leadership: With 7 years of experience in university print shops, Taylor teaches courses on Digital Techniques, Identity & Design, and Scientific Illustration. They currently serve as President of the Mid America Print Council, organizing panels on inclusive printmaking practices.
