Dr. Brent M. Znosko is Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Chemistry at Saint Louis University's School of Science and Engineering. He directs research on RNA thermodynamics and structure prediction.
Research focuses on:
- RNA secondary structure thermodynamics
- Nearest-neighbor parameter development
- Bioinformatics tools for structural analysis
- Effects of molecular crowding on nucleic acids
He developed RNA CoSSMos database and MeltR software. Honors include mentoring awards and over 50 publications in nucleic acid research.
