Brenden Timpe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, affiliated with the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management. He joined the faculty in 2019 after completing his PhD at the University of Michigan and bachelor's degree at the University of North Dakota. His career also includes experience as a journalist, speechwriter, and congressional aide.
