Dr Brendan Walker-Munro is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the School of Law, University of Queensland. His research focuses on cybersecurity, military law, autonomous systems regulation, tax enforcement, and criminology. He holds a PhD in Australian criminal law regulators and cyber-systemics from Swinburne University of Technology (2021).

Dr Walker-Munro frequently contributes to policy dialogues through submissions to parliamentary committees and publishes opinion pieces in The Conversation, The Strategist, and other platforms. He has presented at major conferences including DILEMA 2023 (The Hague) and the Law Schools Global League Winter Conference (Kyushu, Japan).
