Brendan Boyle

Associate Professor Brendan Boyle is a faculty member at the University of Newcastle's Newcastle Business School (Management), where he also serves as Head of the Management Discipline and Director of the Health Services Research and Workforce Innovation Centre. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Studies (Honours) from University College Dublin. His research focuses on health services management, workforce equity and resilience, HRM, and knowledge sharing, with active projects in healthcare, mining, and medical technology sectors. Boyle has been recognized for impactful healthcare leadership research, including a certificate of Impact from Human Resource Management USA. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a graduate member of the UK's Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
