Brenda L Croft is a Professor in Indigenous Art History and Curatorship at the Australian National University (ANU), affiliated with the Centre for Art History and Art Theory in the College of Arts & Social Sciences. She is also an Adjunct Fellow at UNSW Art & Design and has held roles including Senior Lecturer at the University of South Australia. Her research focuses on Indigenous auto-ethnography, cultural memory, and First Nations Storywork, emphasizing collaboration with Aboriginal communities.
Education: Honorary Doctorate (Visual Arts) from the University of Sydney (2009), Master of Art Administration from UNSW (1995), and a PhD from UNSW (2021).
