Dr. Brenda Brouwer is a Professor at Queen's University, holding joint appointments in the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, School of Kinesiology and Health Studies, and the Centre for Neuroscience Studies. She serves as Interim Dean of Smith School of Business and previously held roles as Vice-Provost and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. Her research focuses on biomechanical, neuromuscular, and metabolic demands of mobility in healthy aging and stroke survivors. Key contributions include studies on stair negotiation biomechanics and stroke rehabilitation strategies.
