Bregje Termeer

Dr. Bregje Termeer serves as Professor of Diversity & Inclusion at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, leading practice-based research on strengthening diversity-sensitive practices in higher education. She earned her PhD from the University of Amsterdam in 2016 with an ethnographic study of cultural diversity among young Rotterdam artists. Her work focuses on creating inclusive learning environments through pedagogical innovation and dialogue.

Termeer's research examines how to acknowledge meaningful differences while maintaining connection, addressing issues of inclusion/exclusion through narrative inquiry and pedagogical design. Key research themes include:
