Breda Eubank is an Assistant Professor and Athletic Therapy Coordinator at Mount Royal University. She holds a PhD from the University of Calgary, alongside an MSc and BSc/BKin in Athletic Therapy. Her roles include curriculum development, course coordination, and teaching across the Common Core, Athletic Therapy, and Physical Literacy programs. She has served in leadership roles with the Alberta Athletic Therapists Association and Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, and is a member of the Canadian Professional Rodeo Sport Medicine Team. Her research focuses on musculoskeletal health, consensus methods for clinical decision-making, rodeo injury analysis, and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
Dr. Eubank’s community engagement includes roles with the Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network, Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute, and the Sport Medicine Council of Alberta. Her work emphasizes translating research into clinical practice through evidence-based guidelines and quality improvement strategies. She has contributed to provincial initiatives addressing musculoskeletal care pathways and economic evaluations of healthcare interventions.
Her professional presentations highlight collaborations on consensus guidelines for genetic counseling and clinical decision tools for shoulder conditions. She actively participates in peer review for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and sits on expert groups addressing musculoskeletal healthcare transformation.
