Assistant Professor Breann DePietro has served Delaware Valley University's Department of Equine Science and Management since joining the faculty in 2007. She concurrently holds roles as assistant coach for the Intercollegiate Dressage team and advisor to the Dressage club, integrating practical industry experience with academic instruction.
Her educational credentials include an M.S. in Educational Leadership and a B.S. in Large Animal Science, both earned at Delaware Valley University. Prior to academia, DePietro managed a professional dressage boarding and training facility, establishing deep industry roots.
DePietro's expertise spans Equine Science, Dressage, and Equestrian Coaching, with specialized focus on competitive judging standards and technical delegation. She emphasizes positive reinforcement methodologies in teaching, drawing from decades of hands-on equine management experience.
