معرفی
Brandon Roberts is an Assistant Professor jointly appointed in the Departments of Zoology & Physiology and Animal Science at the University of Wyoming. His research focuses on neural mechanisms underlying childhood obesity and therapeutic interventions.
Education:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Washington State University (2015)
- BS in Neuroscience, Washington State University (2009)
His research has four primary focus areas: neurophysiology, endocrine signaling, developmental programming, and biological rhythms. He investigates how early-life overnutrition disrupts neural circuits involved in metabolic and cognitive functions, with the long-term goal of developing targeted behavioral interventions.
His recent publications examine circadian rhythm disruptions in neural circuits, metabolic signaling pathways in obesity, and neuronal responses to growth factors. Research consistently demonstrates themes of metabolic-neural interactions and developmental influences on obesity pathways.
He leads a research lab focused on childhood obesity mechanisms and circadian influences on metabolism.
