Brandon Bretl, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Texas at Tyler. His work focuses on moral psychology, educational psychology, and adolescent development, with particular attention to social/cultural factors in STEM education and research methods/psychometrics. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Kansas, where he received the Nona Tollefson Fellowship for Quantitative Research in Education. Before academia, Bretl taught math/science in middle/high schools and worked on standardized science assessments in Kansas.
