Brandiese E. Beverly, Ph.D. serves as a Health Scientist within the Integrative Health Assessment Branch of the Division of Translational Toxicology at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Her work focuses on translating toxicological research into actionable health risk assessments.
Dr. Beverly's research spans critical environmental health domains including:
- Integrative health assessment methodologies
- Environmental exposure risk characterization
- Toxicological data interpretation for public health decision-making
- Development of assessment frameworks for emerging contaminants
As part of the Health Assessment and Translation team alongside colleagues Amy Wang, Andrew A. Rooney, Kembra L. Howdeshell, Kyla W. Taylor, and Vickie R. Walker, she contributes to projects such as Dextr (Automated Data Extraction Tool), inflammation-based atherosclerosis research, and the NIEHS Phased Scoping Review of the East Palestine, Ohio Train Derailment. Her work supports NIEHS's mission to translate scientific findings into protective health measures through rigorous evidence evaluation and risk communication.
