Bram van Ginneken

Bram van Ginneken serves as Professor of Medical Image Analysis at Radboud University Medical Center, with additional appointments as Research Scientist at Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS in Bremen, Germany. He founded Thirona (2014) for CT lung analysis software and Plain Medical (2024) for AI radiology solutions, while pioneering medical image analysis challenges through grand-challenge.org.

His educational background includes Physics studies at Eindhoven University of Technology and Utrecht University, culminating in a 2001 PhD from the Image Sciences Institute on Computer-Aided Diagnosis in Chest Radiography.
