Dr. Bradley Jersak serves as Principal of St. Stephen's University, Director of the SSU School of Theology & Culture, and Professor of Theology and Religious Studies. He holds a PhD from Bangor University (2013), focusing on George P. Grant and Simone Weil's political theology, alongside postdoctoral work at the University of Nottingham on Patristic Christology. Previously, he served as faculty at Westminster Theological Centre and Briercrest Seminary. His work bridges academic theology, pastoral ministry, and popular writing, emphasizing themes like Christian universalism, nonviolent theology, and biblical interpretation. Jersak has authored over 20 books spanning academic, devotional, and children’s literature, including A More Christlike God and Out of the Embers. He co-founded Fresh Wind Press and edits for CWR magazine. Married with three children and two grandchildren, he resides in Abbotsford, BC.

Research Interests: Jersak’s interdisciplinary work explores political theology, Patristic thought, and the integration of faith with modern deconstruction. He critiques toxic theological frameworks, advocating for a 'cruciform' vision of God’s love. His writings address universalism, hell theology, and the intersection of spirituality with societal challenges.
Publications: Over 20 books, including academic works like Stricken by God? and popular titles such as the 'More Christlike' trilogy. His latest projects emphasize postmodern faith navigation and children’s spirituality.
Labs/Teams: Leads the Jim Forest Institute at SSU, co-founded St. Macrina Press, and co-edits the Clarion-Journal.ca platform.
